The Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry Facility is a state-of-the-art centre offering service analyses and research opportunities for investigating the mass, structure and conformation of biomolecules and their complexes.
We provide an ad hoc service for routine analysis including intact molecular mass measurment, protein/PTM identification and non-covanlent mass measurments. Please see
Research carried out in the Facility focusses on the use of both Ion Mobility Spectrometry-Mass Spectrometry and chemical foot printing approaches to probe the three dimensional structure of proteins and their complexes. We are happy to discuss collision cross-sectional area measurments and hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry analyses with all interested users. Please note that these are not routine analyses.
Please note that any work carried out in the Facility or by Facility staff are subject to our terms of use and the Core Facilities Publication Policy to ensure appropriate recognition and credit of the Facility. Submission of samples for analysis or use of Facility equipment constitutes agreement with these policies.
